Challenge:
As the nation gets used to sheltering in place, essential workers everywhere remain busy. Healthcare workers rightfully deserve our collective thanks. But it’s more than just doctors and nurses performing essential work for all of us. Those who work in grocery, food service, banking, transportation and more also deserve to be celebrated for all that they do to keep things moving.
Solution:
Tucoemas Federal Credit Union and Strum developed and rapidly deployed a campaign called “&Essential.” Built around the truth that every essential worker is more than just their job. They are mothers and fathers, friends and colleagues. They are strong and resilient, focused and essential, all at the same time. Tucoemas quickly produced t-shirts and stickers to say thanks to the essential workers in its California community. And social media was used to deliver specific words of celebration.
